But maintaining a site isn't easy by far. It takes time, dedication and a lot of patience, amongst other things.

A lot of admins seem to loose interest in their sites, while they are waiting for members to join and if there are a lot of inactive members one sometimes wonders if one shouldn't just close the site down.

But you shouldn't give up too quickly. It might take some time, but people will join and be active with time, especially if the site is well-maintained.

Exactly that is why this forum here exists. To help you stay dedicated to your own site, because there's always someone who loves it and who will come back every day, waiting for an update and new posts.
